Our Story

At The Girl In The Mirror, we work with individuals, corporates, educational institutions, community and other groups and offer varying levels of support all aimed at getting back to zero. This journey can only be truly undertaken from point zero.

By using the imagery of the mirror, participants are reminded that the eyes that look back at them in the mirror are the same eyes that they looked through when they were infants, little girls or young women full of confidence and owning their space under the sun. The girl in the mirror reconnects one with the self and helps one to find themselves and move forward in life with confidence and assurance.

This journey which takes different formats depending on the individual circumstances is about finding the girl who was lost or forgotten along the way. Reclaiming oneself. Owning one’s identity and asserting the right to exist. Owning one’s uniqueness. Shutting out the negative conditioning. This journey is about ‘re-membering’, going back to zero, and finding the clean slate.

Once the girl in the mirror is ‘re-membered’, she can thrive and become the person that she is meant to be. She can excel in all aspects of life . Academic studies are prioritised, leadership roles are assumed with a natural confidence and from a point of ownership, families thrive as love takes centre stage and fear, anger, and violence are drastically reduced or eliminated.

We work with different methodologies tailored to the individual , group or organisation’s needs.
